ABOUT
Faye Davis is an editorial and fashion photographer, with her bachelors in photography and related media and minor of fashion styling at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is currently working as a freelance photographer in New York City. Faye Davis uses her work to advocate for her transgender community and creates images that reflect deamy and hyper stylized aesthetics. Originally from upstate New York, the young photographer moved to New York City to pursue her creative endeavors. Davis has displayed work in the Museum at FIT, in “This Must Be The Place” photo exhibition as a third year student and “From Our Eyes” senior exhibition. As well as being featured in 2Late magazine, with a series that explores aspects of self-love after being torn down by societal representations of beauty. Her latest project explores the struggles of identity through a series of Fashion/ Editorial work displayed in her self-published magazine ‘Trans-gressions”. She has experience in various mediums, such as photography, video, animation, and various Adobe applications.
